What has forty feet, lives in the Sonoran Desert, drinks vegetable oil, and runs 55 miles-per-hour? The Arizona Mathematics Roadshow!
Award-winning science outreach aficionado and university mathematics professor, Dr. Bruce Bayly, will be stopping in Ithaca where he will reunite with his old friend and long-time business partner, Cornell science outreach specialist, Erik Herman. Bruce and his crew are on a two-month cross-country tour to share with kids the wonder and beauty of applied mathematics. Join us for pizza and drinks at Ithaca Generator Saturday evening to enjoy some captivating demonstrations, hear tales of their journey, and last but not least—to help Bruce and Erik scheme how to base a science bus right here in Ithaca!
