Publicizing Ithaca Generator News & Events

In general, communicating on behalf of Ithaca Generator is so appreciated. The voice of Ithaca Generator is a collective one, and is characterized by the diversity of contributors and messages that we have to share. With that said, here are a few ways to stay on-brand and maintain a consistent voice and tone for the organization:

  • Keep it clear, concise, and enthusiastic.
  • Keep it short and clear, but don’t forget the who, what, where, when and why. Include information about whether the event or initiative is for members only or includes the public, costs, time commitment, expectations, etc.
  • If it’s a personal story, or you need to use “I” or “me,” own it. Put your name on it.
